Vogt revolutionized the commercial ice industry in 1939 when it built the first Tube-Ice machine. It is (and always has been) rated number one in the industry.
Based on the unique principle of freezing water circulated through vertical tubes, the Vogt Tube-Ice machine opened the door for large-scale production of clear, head, pure, sized ice cylinders.
The Tube-Ice machine’s falling film design washes away salts and other impurities, actually resulting in ice that is purer than the water from which it was made. As the Tube-Ice freezes from the outside in, the Vogt trademark “ice with the hole” forms. |
